Awash International Bank opens student accounts
On Tuesday 4 November 2008 the Arat Kilo branch of the Awash International Bank SC sent in a team to the Addis Ababa University to complete the account opening documentation for 29 grantees of the Ethiopian Female Student Assistance Fund (EFSAF). These students had successfully passed to the second year of their studies for the academic year 2008/2009 and so were awarded a first semester grant from EFSAF.
Ato Tilahun Ameneshewa, manager of the branch commented "Our branch is the nearest private bank to the Arat Kilo campus of Addis Ababa University and we are only too happy to provide banking services for university students. We look forward to co-operating with EFSAF in assisting in the disbursements of future grants".
