Former Vice-Minister Congratulates EFSAF Graduates

At a celebratory dinner held on Friday 13th July 2012 at the Lucy Restaurant in Addis Ababa, Ato Getahun Demissie, former Vice Minister of Mines and presently a leading consultant in the geothermal energy sector, congratulated the recent EFSAF graduates on their success. He entertained the company with his early experiences as a geologist with the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines, after his graduation from Addis Ababa University. He stressed to the graduates that they were at the beginning of another learning process.


Also present at the dinner was Professor Yalemtsehay head of the Women's Affairs Office of the Faculty of Science, who expressed her thanks to the charity for its support of female students.


Mr. Ronald Stott, chairman of the board of trustees commented "We were pleased that Ato Getahun was able to join us for the dinner as this year marked the first of the EFSAF awardees graduating in geology and earth science. Our prize winner this year, Wzt. Lidet Mekonnen was also one of the geology graduates."
